In 1922 the founding father of our group, Mr. Atta Ullah Malik, commenced his business journey from Sailkot. With a modest beginning but sheer hard work coupled with honesty of purpose and dedication his untiring efforts made his presence soon felt in the local business quarters.



From this small venture the business gradually developed into the largest manufacturing unit of textile, hosiery, socks, towels, blankets and bed linen in the vicinity distributing its products all over the sub-continent. Within a few years the business captured more than 56% of the total textile trade in Sialkot.



A tiny city in the north of Pakistan, Sialkot was emerging at that time as an export centre for surgical instruments, sporting goods, EPNS and textile products. Later the city became the hub of these industries. A district of only 300,000 inhabitants before independence, Sialkot started to emerge as a prominent production and supply base for various products across the country and many overseas markets.



The next generation of entrepreneurs expanded the group’s operations into diversified fields which besides textiles and hosiery products included steel pipes, cotton and polyester spinning, surgical instruments, photographic processing labs, distribution of paper and chemicals, textile weaving and real estate.



Later, Mr. Iftikhar Malik expanded his activities to Kuwait and Oman where he was responsible for establishing and managing several companies in various spheres of trade, finance and industry using his vast experience and cutting-edge technologies.
