Higher Education Commission

​​In pursuance of the controlling authorities, order dated April 13, 1976 and the commission resolution No; 11(ii) and 17 06 September 3, 1975 and May 20, 1976 respectively, the establishment of U.G.C Centre at Lahore w.e.f July 1, 1976 is hereby notified. The extension was made in Regional Centre, Lahore building in 2008 to provide more facilities which includes Video Conference Room, 2 Meeting Rooms, IT Training LAB, 40 guest rooms.



The core function of this Centre is to facilitate the Institutions of Higher Learning in the province of Punjab and it provides a wide range of HEC services to different universities, faculty members, students and the general public, as a key geographical site.​
