PEN is a non-profit company registered under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984. Section 42 regulated companies have to abide by the strict regulations of disclosure, auditing and controls under the governance of SECP (Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan)



PEN is audited by KPMG - one of the big 4 auditing firms in the world - and the reports are posted on our website.



PEN is certified by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy, which evaluates non-profits against objective parameters in internal governance, financial management and program delivery. UKAS has also certified PEN under ISO 9001:2008 standards for implementation of quality management system.



Donations to PEN are deductible against the Income Tax liability of individual and corporate donors according to Section 2 (36) of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001.

Progressive Education Network (PEN) provides quality education to less privileged students across Pakistan. Currently, there are over 41,000 students studying in 206 PEN adopted schools spread across Pakistan
